John Perry, President / CEO With extensive experience as a senior level healthcare industry executive, John has held management positions in general management, marketing, new business development, licensing & acquisitions, new product introductions, strategic business planning, and tactical implementation for three large medical products companies and for and for numerous smaller companies. Over the past 25 years John served as Chairman and CEO of Athena Medical Corporation; President and CEO of Xtramedics, Inc.; Vice President of Curatek Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning of LyphoMed/Fujisawa; Global Marketing Manager, Abbott Diagnostics/Abbott Laboratories; Group Director of Marketing, Director of the Gynecological, Surgical, and Medical Products Divisions, Senior Product Manager, Manager of Business Development, and Marketing Research Analyst for Searle Laboratories /Monsanto. Additionally, John has served as President/CEO (or acting/interim President/CEO) for eight other startup, development-stage and emerging-growth stage companies. He has also served on over a dozen for-profit and non-profit boards. |

Dr. Hugo Morales, Director of Medical Affairs A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Morales possesses the extremely rare combination of experience of having served both as a practicing physician (Cardiologist) for 20 years, as well as having 15 years in various management capacities with four large healthcare / pharmaceutical companies. Specifically, Dr. Morales has served as Director, Clinical Research for Berlex Labs; Director, Cardiovascular Medical Research, Parke-Davis / Warner Lambert; Director Medical Affairs, Boehringer-Mannheim (Roche); and Associate Medical Director, Clinical Research, Schering-Plough. Dr. Morales also served as Research Director, Institute of Preventive & Stress Medicine. Finally, Dr. Morales has published studies/articles in 46 scientific publications; authored/co-authored chapters in five books; and served as lecturer or panelist in 54 post-graduate courses, conferences and seminars. Dr. Morales brings a terrific “inside-the-pharmaceutical-industry” perspective to M-EDG. |

Dr. Paul Williams, Medical Director Dr. Williams is a board- certified Neonatologist. He has served as Chief Resident and later as Associate Neonatologist, Director of Neonatal Research, and Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan, and a number of other positions at various healthcare institutions. Dr. Williams has published extensively in many medical publications. Most notably, he has been widely acclaimed and is best known internationally for his worldwide medical missionary, humanitarian aid, and disaster relief efforts. He has been to over 105 countries; has most recently served as the President of International HealthCare Network; and is perhaps best known for having served as the Director Medical Division, for “Operation Blessing” (The L-1011 Jumbo Jet “Flying Hospital”). Dr. Williams brings a true “global healthcare connection” to M-EDG. |

Dr. RJ Gosselin, Director of Development Dr. Gosselin has several key accomplishments in over 25 years in business including being listed in Who’s Who in Executives & Professionals and his selection as Entrepreneur of the Year, ’96 (Stanley County, NC Chamber of Commerce). Dr. Gosselin has developed and delivered marketing and sales training and assessment materials, and conducted and managed development, training and IT projects for several Fortune 500 companies including: Hewlett-Packard, Best Buy, Bull (IT servers and software), United Airlines, Smith & Wesson Security Systems, American Fiber & Finishing, and Amazon.com. Dr. Gosselin holds a PhD in Leadership and Organization with additional emphasis in Computer Sciences, and has traveled to five continents assessing organizational leadership and delivering strategic training. Dr. Gosselin brings to M-EDG the benefits of his seasoned multi-industry marketing & technological experiences, expertise, and capabilities. |

Michael Cardy, Director of Operations &
Int'l Development
Michael’s experience in the healthcare industry, strong technical and scientific background, and international cross-cultural background includes having traveled and worked in 37 countries. Michael has served on the board of directors for International Health Services; focused upon the healthcare industry as a senior account manager with Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC); and served as the branch manager for Medical Help (home healthcare). His experience also includes management and consulting with start-up to mid-size companies both nationally and internationally. Mr. Cardy’s extensive executive management experience, coupled with international business background, brings a unique perspective to M-EDG’s management team. |
